Solar Colour Changing Wind Chime with Hummingbird and Butterfly Designs for Outdoor Hanging

This solar wind chime is a hanging outdoor light that charges during the day and illuminates automatically at night. It features a colour-changing LED bulb that softly transitions from one colour to the next, and it is available in hummingbird and butterfly designs, with the B variant representing a butterfly. The unit is made from glass and plastic with an ON/OFF switch under the panel. It is powered by a 2V 100 mAh solar chip and a 1.2V 600 mAh battery, with 6-8 hours charging time and 6-8 hours working time. The waterproof design is limited to rain and moisture, so it should not be immersed in water for long periods. The package contains one solar-powered wind spinner hanging light in a 13 x 13 x 13.5 cm box.

Features and Construction

The wind chime combines a solar panel, a rechargeable battery, and a colour-changing LED bulb in a hanging format. It is designed for outdoor decoration on patios, yards, and gardens. The unit includes a photosensitive plate that controls the LED automatically, turning it on when there is no strong light. The chimes produce sound in the wind, and the decorative hummingbird or butterfly adds a visible feature.

Material and Build

The product is made from glass and plastic. The glass elements form the decorative parts and the crystal ball style, while the plastic provides the structural housing and hanging components. This combination keeps the unit suitable for hanging outdoors while allowing the LED light to shine through. The ON/OFF switch is located under the panel, and the internal chip circuit is connected at the factory. The unit contains a 1.2V 600 mAh battery and a 2V 100 mAh solar chip. No additional materials or coatings are stated.

Size and Practical Fit

The single product package measures 13 x 13 x 13.5 cm. This compact box size makes the wind chime suitable for storage or gifting, and the hanging format allows it to be placed on a patio, yard, or garden. The exact dimensions of the chime itself are not provided in the source text, so the hanging length and width cannot be confirmed. The unit is designed to be hung in a fully lit location without obstructions to allow solar charging.

Uses and Placement

This solar wind chime is intended for outdoor settings where a hanging decorative light is wanted. It can be used on a porch, yard, patio, or garden, and it provides colour-changing illumination after dark. The chimes sound in the wind, and the unit can be given as a gift. The product is not suitable for long-term immersion in water, and it should not be hit or beaten.

Event or Professional Use

The wind chime can be hung for outdoor gatherings, garden parties, or other events where decorative lighting is useful. Because it charges via solar power, it does not require a mains connection, and it turns on automatically when light levels drop. The colour-changing LED provides a soft changing light, and the chimes respond to wind movement. The unit is available in multiple design options including hummingbird, butterfly, ball, star, and other decorative shapes listed in the variant options. For events, placement in a fully lit area before the event allows charging.

Everyday Home Use

For everyday use, the wind chime can be hung on a patio, porch, or garden hook where it receives direct light during the day. At night the LED turns on automatically via the photosensitive plate, and the colour changes continuously. The chimes produce sound in the wind, which can be heard in the outdoor area. The ON/OFF switch must be set to ON for charging, and the unit should be installed without obstructions. The waterproof design handles rain and moisture, but the product should not be immersed in water for long periods.

Benefits and Buying Value

The main practical benefit is solar-powered operation, which removes the need for wiring or disposable batteries. The automatic light sensor means the unit turns on at night without manual switching. The colour-changing LED provides a changing display, and the hummingbird or butterfly design adds a decorative element. The chimes produce sound in the wind. The unit is rechargeable via the included solar chip and battery, and it is designed for outdoor conditions within the stated waterproof limits.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The wind chime uses a rechargeable 1.2V 600 mAh battery and a 2V 100 mAh solar chip, so it can be charged repeatedly during daylight. Maintenance is limited to placing the unit in a fully lit location and keeping the solar panel unobstructed. The ON/OFF switch must be set to ON for charging. The LED bulb remains cool to the touch at all times according to the source text. The waterproof design is limited to rain and moisture, so the unit should not be immersed in water for long periods, and it should not be hit or beaten.
