23 cm Multi-Section Soft Plastic Lure for Freshwater Fishing

This simulated fish loach lure bait is a 23 cm long, 46 gram soft plastic offering designed to mimic the appearance and motion of a small baitfish. Its multi-section construction allows for an articulated, lifelike swimming action that can attract predatory species in lakes, rivers, and reservoirs. Available in five distinct colour patterns, it provides anglers with options to match various water clarity and light conditions. The lure comes pre-fitted with a #2 hook, making it a straightforward, ready-to-fish addition to any tackle box focused on freshwater lure fishing.

Features and Construction

This lure is built around a specific set of specifications that define its performance and application in the water.

Material and Build

The main body of the lure is crafted from soft plastic, a material chosen for its flexibility and ability to impart a natural, flowing action when retrieved. This multi-section design means the lure bends and moves in segments, closely replicating the undulating motion of a live loach or similar forage fish. The integrated #2 hook is securely attached, providing a reliable point of entry without the need for additional terminal tackle assembly.

Size and Practical Fit

With a total length of 23 cm and a weight of 46 grams, this lure has a substantial profile suited for casting with standard lure rods. Its size makes it a viable option for targeting medium to larger freshwater predators that feed on sizeable baitfish. The weight aids in achieving good casting distance and controlling the lure's depth during retrieval, allowing it to be worked effectively through different water columns.

Uses and Placement

The design and specs of this lure make it applicable for specific fishing techniques and environments.

Event or Professional Use

For tournament anglers or those targeting specific species, the 23 cm size and realistic action can be advantageous when fish are keyed in on larger prey. The variety of five colour options allows for quick adaptation to changing conditions, such as switching between brighter patterns for stained water and more natural tones for clear conditions, which is a common strategy in competitive scenarios.

Everyday Home Use

For the recreational angler, this lure offers a simple, effective solution. Being pre-rigged means it can be tied directly to the line and fished immediately, removing complexity for casual outings. Its robust 46 gram weight handles well on typical spinning or casting gear, making it a practical choice for shore fishing, boat casting, or trolling in local freshwater venues.

Benefits and Buying Value

The value of this product lies in its defined specifications and straightforward design for freshwater fishing applications.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

As a soft plastic lure, it is designed for multiple uses. After fishing, simply rinsing the lure in fresh water and allowing it to dry can help maintain its condition. The durability of the material against typical wear from strikes and structure contact means it can be a recurring choice in an angler's rotation without requiring specialised care.

Why Choose This Product

This lure presents a clear, specification-led option for anglers seeking a larger-profile bait with articulated action. The concrete details—a 23 cm length, 46 gram weight, #2 hook, and five colour choices—provide tangible differences from generic lures. It fills a niche for those needing a ready-to-fish, multi-jointed soft bait of a specific size without any guesswork regarding its dimensions or rigging.
