Road bike carbon fibre drop handlebar available in four widths with matt finish

This road bicycle handlebar provides a key upgrade or replacement component for cyclists. Designed with a classic bent drop shape, it offers the standard hand positions favoured for road riding, from the hoods to the drops. Constructed from carbon fibre, it is supplied with a matt surface finish. A notable feature is the availability in four distinct width sizes: 380mm, 400mm, 420mm, and 440mm. This range allows riders to select a handlebar that matches their shoulder width, riding style, and existing bike setup. The product is listed as suitable for both men and women.

Features and Construction

The primary details for this bicycle component focus on its material, finish, and sizing options. It is presented as a standalone handlebar without additional mounting hardware specified.

Material and Build

The handlebar is made from carbon fibre. This material is known for its use in bicycle components where a combination of strength and low weight is desired. The surface of the handlebar has a matt, non-glossy finish. The product information confirms a bent drop bar design, which is the traditional shape for road bikes.

Size and Practical Fit

A key practical advantage is the availability in four different width sizes. The measurements provided are 380mm, 400mm, 420mm, and 440mm. These refer to the centre-to-centre width of the handlebar at the drops. Choosing the correct width can influence bike handling, comfort, and aerodynamics. The product is described with a neutral gender application, making it a viable option for both male and female cyclists.

Uses and Placement

This component is designed for use on road bicycles. It serves as a direct replacement for an existing handlebar or as part of a new build.

Event or Professional Use

For cyclists involved in club riding, sportives, or training, a handlebar of appropriate width is crucial for control and comfort over long distances. The carbon fibre construction may appeal to riders looking to reduce overall bike weight. The range of sizes allows for fitting to different rider anatomies.

Everyday Home Use

For the home mechanic or cyclist maintaining their own bike, this handlebar offers a straightforward replacement option. The four size choices mean it can be matched to a rider's existing setup or used to adjust the fit of a current bike. It is supplied as a single unit.

Benefits and Buying Value

The value of this product lies in its specific sizing options and stated material construction.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

A handlebar is a long-lasting component. Once installed correctly, it requires minimal maintenance beyond routine cleaning. The carbon fibre material and matt finish should be cleaned with appropriate, non-abrasive products to preserve the surface.

Why Choose This Product

This handlebar provides a clear choice based on measurable width. The availability of four sizes (380mm, 400mm, 420mm, 440mm) is a concrete differentiator from models offered in only one or two widths. The carbon fibre material and matt finish are stated facts that inform the purchase decision for riders with specific material preferences.
