Mobile Phone Camera Lens Kit with Wide-Angle Lens and Adjustable Colourful Selfie Light

This external camera accessory kit is designed to expand the photographic capabilities of your smartphone. It combines a wide-angle lens for capturing broader scenes and a multi-colour LED light ring specifically useful for illuminating selfies and close-up subjects. The universal mounting system allows for quick attachment to most phone models, making it a straightforward tool for social media enthusiasts, vloggers, and anyone looking to improve their mobile photography without complex equipment. The kit provides a physical solution to common limitations like narrow framing and poor lighting in casual shooting environments.

Features and Construction

The kit centres on two core components: a wide-angle lens and a detachable LED light ring, both housed in aluminium alloy. This construction aims for a balance between durability and a lightweight profile suitable for a phone accessory.

Material and Build

The primary structural material is aluminium alloy, used for the housing of both the lens and the light unit. This choice contributes to a rigid feel while keeping the overall accessory light enough to be mounted on a phone. The wide-angle lens itself incorporates an optical glass element, which is intended to provide clearer image capture compared to plastic alternatives. The finishes available are black, red, or silver grey, offering a choice of appearance.

Size and Practical Fit

The wide-angle lens has a diameter of 42mm, while the outer diameter of the detachable LED light ring measures 85mm. These dimensions are designed to be compact for portability. The kit includes a universal mounting clip engineered to grip the edges of most smartphones, centring the accessory over the phone's native camera lens. This clip-based system avoids the need for adhesives or model-specific cases, promoting reusability across different devices.

Uses and Placement

This accessory is suited for scenarios where the built-in phone camera needs enhancement, particularly for content creation where lighting and framing are important.

Event or Professional Use

For users creating content at events, in studios, or for social media platforms, the adjustable coloured lighting can provide consistent, creative illumination for selfies, product shots, or talking-head videos. The wide-angle lens allows more of the environment or a group of people to be included in the frame compared to the standard phone lens, which can be beneficial for vlogging or capturing interior spaces.

Everyday Home Use

In everyday situations like family gatherings, indoor photography, or video calls in low-light rooms, the LED light ring offers a controllable light source to improve picture clarity. The wide-angle lens can be useful for capturing full-room scenes, group selfies, or pets without having to step back physically. Its clip-on nature means it can be stored easily and attached only when needed.

Benefits and Buying Value

The value of this kit lies in its specific functions and reusable design, offering targeted enhancements to a device most people already own.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The universal clip mount is a key feature for longevity, as it allows the same accessory to be used with future phone models as long as the camera position is compatible. The aluminium and glass construction suggests a focus on sustained use, though specific durability ratings are not provided. Maintenance involves basic care: storing the lens and light in the included pouch to protect the glass and keeping the clip mechanism free of debris.

Why Choose This Product

This product provides a defined set of enhancements—wider framing and adjustable coloured lighting—in a single, attachable kit. It is a practical choice for users who have identified these specific limitations in their mobile photography and want a dedicated, physical tool to address them, as opposed to relying solely on software filters or editing. The choice of three colour finishes (black, red, silver grey) also allows for a degree of personalisation in line with the user's phone or style preference.
