Digital Automatic Aquarium Fish Feeder AF 2009D with Timer

This digital automatic aquarium fish feeder is designed for aquarium owners who want to maintain a feeding routine without being present for every meal. The AF 2009D model uses a timer function to dispense fish food, which can help reduce missed feeds during work trips, holidays, or busy days at home. It is made from plastic in a black finish, measures approximately 110 x 100 x 68mm, and weighs 184g, so it is a compact addition to a tank setup. The feeder runs on two AAA 1.5V batteries, which are not included, and it comes with double-faced stickers for mounting plus a user manual in English and Chinese.

Features and Construction

The feeder is built around a plastic body with a digital timer mechanism. Its compact footprint and light weight make it suitable for mounting on a range of aquarium tanks using the supplied stickers. The black colour keeps it visually simple alongside typical tank equipment.

Material and Build

The body is made from plastic, which keeps the unit lightweight at 184g. This material is straightforward to wipe clean during normal aquarium maintenance. The feeder is supplied in black and is designed as a compact unit measuring approximately 110 x 100 x 68mm. The AF 2009D model uses a timer to control feeding, and the plastic housing protects the internal mechanism during everyday use above the tank.

Size and Practical Fit

With dimensions of approximately 110 x 100 x 68mm, the feeder is sized to sit alongside other aquarium equipment without occupying a large area. The net weight of 184g means it is light enough to be held by the included double-faced stickers when mounted as directed. The package itself measures 120 x 11 x 75mm and weighs 240g, so it arrives in a compact box with the feeder, mounting stickers, and manual inside.

Uses and Placement

This automatic feeder is intended for aquarium tank use, where a timer can help maintain feeding intervals. It can be mounted using the supplied stickers, making it suitable for both routine home aquariums and periods when the owner is away.

Event or Professional Use

For aquarium owners who travel or work irregular hours, the digital timer can help keep feeding consistent. The feeder can be mounted with the double-faced stickers, so it can be positioned on the tank as part of a temporary or ongoing setup. It is powered by two AAA 1.5V batteries, which need to be fitted before use and are not included with the package.

Everyday Home Use

In a home aquarium, the AF 2009D can reduce the need to remember manual feeds at the same time each day. Its black plastic body and compact size make it easy to place on a tank without drawing attention. The included English and Chinese user manual covers setup and timer operation, and the plastic surface can be wiped clean as part of regular tank care.

Benefits and Buying Value

The main practical benefit is scheduled feeding through a digital timer, which can help maintain a routine when you are not available. The feeder is compact, battery-powered, and supplied with mounting stickers and a manual, so it can be put into use without additional mounting hardware.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The feeder is designed to be reused with replaceable AAA batteries rather than being a single-use item. Its plastic body can be wiped clean, and the timer function supports repeated feeding cycles once set. Because the batteries are not included, you can choose your own AAA 1.5V cells and replace them when needed.
