Plush silicone rabbit ears protective cover for Apple AirPods 1, 2, Pro, and 3

This protective cover offers a simple, decorative solution for safeguarding your Apple AirPods charging case. Made from a soft, pliable silicone gel, it slips over the original case to provide a layer of protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and minor impacts. The design includes moulded rabbit ears, adding a playful, personalised touch to your wireless earbuds. Importantly, this is a third-party accessory designed to be compatible with Apple's AirPods models, not an Apple-branded product. It comes in two colour variants—pink and grey—and is manufactured in two distinct shapes: one for the AirPods 1 and 2 generation case, and another for the AirPods Pro and 3 generation case. This ensures the cover fits snugly without obstructing functionality.

Features and Construction

This cover is built around core practical needs: protection, style, and maintained accessibility. Its construction focuses on a material that balances flexibility with a slight cushioning effect, and a shape that matches the exact contours of the AirPods case.

Material and Build

The cover is constructed from a single piece of plush silicone gel. This material is known for being soft to the touch and having a slight give, which helps absorb minor shocks if the case is dropped. The silicone is moulded into the specific shape of the chosen AirPods case model, with the rabbit ears formed as an integral part of the design. The gel-like quality of the silicone means it retains its shape while being flexible enough for easy installation and removal.

Size and Practical Fit

The cover is offered in two precise sizes to match different Apple AirPods cases. You must select the option for 'airpods1 2' or 'airpodspro 3'. The 'airpods1 2' variant is shaped for the standard, non-noise-cancelling AirPods charging case. The 'airpodspro 3' variant is shaped for the slightly wider and shorter case used by AirPods Pro and AirPods 3. Both variants feature meticulously placed cutouts that leave the charging port, case hinge, and the button on the back of the case fully accessible, ensuring the case can be used and charged normally while covered.

Uses and Placement

This product serves a straightforward purpose: to protect and personalise an Apple AirPods charging case during daily use. It is suited for scenarios where the case is carried in bags, pockets, or placed on surfaces, guarding against cosmetic wear.

Everyday Home Use

At home, the cover protects the case from scratches when placed on desks, tables, or nightstands. The soft silicone base can prevent the case from sliding on smooth surfaces. The rabbit ear design simply adds a decorative element to a frequently used gadget, allowing users to express a bit of personal style without modifying the earbuds themselves.

On-the-Go Protection

When travelling, the cover acts as a buffer when the AirPods case is stored in a bag, purse, or backpack alongside keys, coins, or other items. The silicone material helps prevent scuffs and minor dings that can occur from items rubbing together in confined spaces. The slim profile means it adds minimal bulk, keeping the case easy to carry.

Benefits and Buying Value

The value of this cover lies in its specific fit, material choice, and the style option it provides. It addresses the desire to keep the AirPods case looking new while adding a customisable feature.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The silicone material is easy to clean; it can typically be wiped with a damp cloth if it gets dirty. Because it is a simple slip-on cover, it can be removed for cleaning or swapped if desired. The durable nature of silicone means it should retain its shape and colour through regular use, offering ongoing protection.

Why Choose This Product

Choose this cover if you are looking for a straightforward, playful way to protect your AirPods case. Its key advantages are the precise model-specific fit (for either AirPods 1/2 or AirPods Pro/3), the soft plush silicone material, and the distinctive rabbit ear design. It offers a clear visual differentiator from standard plain cases while maintaining all the original case functions. The choice between pink and grey allows for further personalisation.
