Children's Bicycle Rear Wheel Fender in Plastic Resin for 12 to 22 Inch Bikes

A rear wheel fender is a practical addition to a child's bicycle, helping to limit mud and water spray thrown up from the back tyre. This children's bicycle rear wheel fender is made from plastic and resin and is offered in several size and mounting options. It is available for 12 or 14 inch, 16 or 18 inch, and 20 or 22 inch bicycles, with either frame hole installation or seat tube installation depending on the chosen style. The fender is supplied as a single unit, so it can be used as a replacement for a damaged guard or as an added rear mudguard. Before ordering, check the bicycle size and the mounting method needed. This helps ensure the fender suits the frame or seat tube arrangement on the bike.

Features and Construction

The fender is built from plastic and resin, materials commonly used for bicycle mudguards because they can be moulded into a curved shape. The available options are organised by bicycle size and mounting type, making it easier to match the fender to a specific kids' bike. No colour details, weight, or additional hardware are stated in the source information.

Material and Build

The mudguard is made from plastic and resin. These materials are typically used for lightweight bicycle accessories and can be formed into a rear wheel cover. The fender is designed as a single rear wheel unit for children's bicycles. It is not described as including mounting screws, brackets, or other fittings beyond the fender itself. Buyers should use the existing fixings on their bicycle or source suitable hardware if required.

Size and Practical Fit

Size options cover 12 or 14 inch, 16 or 18 inch, and 20 or 22 inch bicycles. Frame hole installation is listed for 12 or 14 inch and 16 or 18 inch options. Seat tube installation is listed for 12 or 14 inch, 16 or 18 inch, and 20 or 22 inch options. This range allows buyers to select a fender based on the bicycle's stated size and the mounting point available on the frame or seat tube.

Uses and Placement

This rear fender is intended for children's bicycles and is positioned over the back wheel. It can help reduce spray from wet or muddy ground, keeping the rider's back and the bicycle frame cleaner during everyday use. The correct option depends on the bicycle size and whether frame hole or seat tube installation is suitable.

Event or Professional Use

The fender is not limited to a specific event or professional setting. It is a general bicycle accessory for children's bikes. It may be useful for family rides, school commutes, or play in parks where the rear wheel can pick up dirt and moisture. The source information does not make any performance claims beyond its function as a rear wheel fender.

Everyday Home Use

For everyday riding, a rear fender can be a simple way to reduce mud and water reaching the child's clothing or the bicycle. It is supplied as one unit, so it can replace an existing rear fender or be added where a rear guard is wanted. Check the bike's size and mounting type before purchase to avoid a poor fit.

Benefits and Buying Value

The main value of this product is its practical role as a rear wheel guard for children's bicycles. It offers multiple size and mounting options within one listing, helping buyers match the fender to their bike. The plastic and resin construction is consistent with common bicycle mudguard materials.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The fender can be cleaned with a damp cloth when dirty. No special care instructions are provided in the source text, so simple, gentle cleaning is recommended. The plastic and resin materials do not require oiling or painting. As a single-unit accessory, it can remain on the bicycle for regular use and be removed if needed.
