Butterfly Series A5 Hardcover Notebook with 196 Colour Pages and Foil-Stamped Cover

This Butterfly Series notebook combines practical function with distinct style. Its A5 hardcover format provides a sturdy, protective shell for the 196 pages of coloured paper inside, making it suitable for daily use as a student diary, work journal, or creative sketchbook. The notebook's specific 130x180mm dimensions offer a portable size that is easy to carry, while the nine available cover designs, each finished with a foil-stamping process, allow for personal choice. It is designed for those who need a reliable notebook where the internal paper offers visual variety for different types of entries or projects.

Features and Construction

The notebook is built around core specifications that define its use. Its construction and materials are chosen to create a product that is both visually distinct and physically robust for everyday carrying and writing.

Material and Build

The notebook uses a hardcover construction, which provides a rigid protective layer for the internal pages against bends and creases. The cover undergoes a specific 'bronzing' process, which is a form of foil stamping, to apply its decorative design. This creates a metallic or coloured finish on the cover's surface. The 196 internal sheets are made from coloured paper, offering a visual alternative to standard white pages which can be useful for colour-coding notes or adding a background for sketches.

Size and Practical Fit

The notebook's dimensions are precisely 130 millimetres wide by 180 millimetres tall. This aligns with the standard A5 paper size, making it a familiar and portable format. It will fit comfortably into most rucksacks, handbags, or laptop sleeves. The A5 size provides a substantial writing area for notes or journal entries while remaining compact enough for easy transport, positioning it between larger A4 pads and smaller pocket notebooks.

Uses and Placement

With its combination of coloured pages and durable cover, this notebook serves multiple roles. Its design elements make it adaptable for both structured record-keeping and more free-form creative pursuits.

Event or Professional Use

The hardcover and formal sizing make it suitable for use as a meeting journal or project log. The coloured pages could be used to differentiate between topics, clients, or types of notes within the same book. The foil-stamped cover presents a more finished appearance than a softcover notepad, making it appropriate for desk use in an office or as a gift. It can function as a detailed diary where its resilience ensures entries are preserved.

Everyday Home Use

At home, this notebook is practical as a personal journal, recipe book, or planner. The coloured internal pages can help organise different sections, such as using specific colours for weekly plans, ideas, or lists. The variety of nine cover designs allows it to match different personal tastes or room decors. It is a functional item for students needing a single notebook for multiple subjects, where the hardcover protects notes throughout the school term.

Benefits and Buying Value

The value of this notebook lies in its specific, stated features. It offers a defined set of characteristics that cater to users looking for a notebook with more visual interest and physical protection than a basic pad.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The hardcover construction is a key factor in the notebook's potential for reuse over time. It protects the spine and pages from damage during transport, which can extend the usable life of the notes inside. The cover's foil-stamped finish is generally durable against scuffs under normal handling. With no specialist care instructions required, maintenance involves simple storage and use with common writing instruments.

Why Choose This Product

This notebook is chosen for its confirmed specifications: the A5 hardcover format, the 196 count of coloured pages, and the choice among nine specific design styles. It is a match for users seeking a notebook where the paper itself provides colour, and where the cover has a decorated, durable finish. It avoids being a generic notepad by offering these combined, concrete features, making it a defined option for study, work, or personal journaling.
