Features and Construction Details

The lamp's design incorporates specific measurements and material choices that determine its functionality and appearance. With plastic construction throughout, it maintains a lightweight profile while the plastic flower accents add visual interest without affecting performance.

Dimensions and Physical Design

Measuring 15cm in total height, the lamp features a 7cm diameter plastic cover that houses the light source, while the black base extends to 8.5cm in diameter for stability on flat surfaces. These proportions create a compact footprint suitable for limited spaces like bedside tables or bookshelves where larger lamps might not fit.

Technical Specifications and Operation

Powered by 3 AG10 button batteries, the lamp provides portable illumination without requiring electrical outlets. The bottom-mounted switch button controls operation, allowing users to turn the light on and off without handling the lamp itself. This battery-powered design makes it suitable for locations without convenient power access.

Material Quality and Durability

Constructed entirely from plastic materials, the lamp offers lightweight portability but requires careful handling to maintain appearance. The plastic flower details are decorative rather than structural, and the overall construction prioritises visual appeal over heavy-duty use, making it best suited for indoor environments with minimal physical impact.

Practical Applications and Usage Scenarios

This night lamp serves multiple purposes in domestic settings, from functional lighting to decorative accents. Its compact size and battery operation expand potential placement options beyond traditional lighting locations.

Bedroom and Nursery Lighting

In bedrooms or nurseries, the 15cm height provides sufficient illumination for nighttime navigation without being overly bright. The warm light variants create a softer glow conducive to relaxation, while the coloured light options can serve as night lights for children or mood lighting for adults. The bottom switch allows easy operation from a lying position in bed.

General Household Use

For general household use, the lamp's portable nature makes it useful during power outages or for temporary lighting needs in areas like hallways, bathrooms, or under-stair spaces. The plastic construction feels lightweight when moved between locations, and the 8.5cm base diameter provides adequate stability on most flat surfaces without requiring special mounting.

Decorative and Seasonal Applications

Beyond functional lighting, the 16 colour options allow decorative coordination with room colour schemes or seasonal decorations. The plastic flower accents contribute to visual appeal when the lamp is not illuminated, serving as a decorative object during daytime hours. Different colour variants can be selected to match specific occasions or interior design themes.

Benefits and Value Considerations

The lamp offers practical advantages through its specific design features and operational characteristics. Its battery-powered nature and colour options provide flexibility not always available in similar products.

Cost and Practical Value

Operating on 3 AG10 button batteries eliminates electricity costs during use, though battery replacement represents an ongoing expense. The plastic construction keeps initial purchase costs lower than lamps with metal or glass components, while the 16 colour options provide selection flexibility without requiring multiple purchases for different colour preferences.
